About Summer Pops:

The Lake Charles Symphony is a non-profit cultural and educational organization whose purpose is to provide a cultural enrichment for the community, to promote education, and awareness of symphonic music to the SWLA, to increase community's awareness of the arts, and to maintain the Lake Charles Symphony Orchestra.

LCSO’s Summer Pops has been a tradition for almost five decades. Summer Pops strives to pair popular music with the elegance of the orchestra. In years past we have celebrated "Rock Orchestras" like the Eagles, "Pop Orchestras" with ABBA and Awesome '80's, Magic and the compositions of John Williams, and Original Orchestrations of Sean Ardoin and the Kreole Rock & Soul. A true celebration of our culture!
